A timeline for the award has not yet been established.** The project consists of providing and implementing a water pollution control plan; job site management; designing, installing, maintaining, and removing dewatering systems; clearing and grubbing; excavating damaged channel banks; furnishing and installing steel sheet piles near channel toe; constructing vegetated soil lifts; furnishing and placing geocells with crushed rock and soil; furnishing and placing topsoil; revegetation; and all work necessary to complete the project. All labor, material, equipment, mechanical workmanship, transportation, and services required must be supplied. Qualified contractors are invited to submit bid proposals, following all Local, State, and Federal laws and guidelines including payment of prevailing wages, proper licensing, and CARB regulation compliance. A Class A or C-12 license is required at contract award and during project execution. Contractors must be registered with the Department of Industrial Relations unless exempt. There is a mandatory pre-bid virtual conference for prime contractors, and site viewing is encouraged though not mandatory.
