Roof Replacement and Exterior Waterproofing at the Charles F. Tighe Recreation Center The project includes installation of a new roofing assembly and exterior waterproofing at the Charles F. Tighe Recreation Center in East Newark. Work will entail removal and disposal of existing multi layered roof, insulation, flashings and scuppers and the installation of a new two-ply, cold-process, modified bituminous roofing assembly over tapered insulation and coverboard. New metal edging, scuppers and downspouts to be installed. All exterior masonry walls to be power washed and sealed. Bid Security is required in an amount of not less than ten percent (10%) of the total amount of the Bid, but not in excess of Twenty Thousand Dollars ($20,000.00) Certificate from a Surety Company is required indicating consent to be bound as surety and guarantor for performance required under the Contract Documents. The Borough of East Newark reserves the right to reject any or all Bids, or to waive any Bid defect where such defect is not detrimental to the best interest of the Borough of East Newark and fairness of the bidding process.
