Renovation of a municipal facility in Las Vegas, Nevada. Completed plans call for the renovation of a municipal facility.
The Work consists of the update and upgrade the Regional Justice Center (RJC) central chiller plant and associated components. Scope includes the removal and replacement of three chiller isolation valves, three primary chiller pumps, and three secondary chiller pumps. Associated work includes demolition and replacement of hydronic piping, insulation, pressure gauges, and condenser water t-strainer baskets. The existing overhead roll-up door shall be removed and replaced with a larger unit to accommodate new equipment; this includes structural modifications to enlarge the door opening. Electrical conduit that interferes with the new door opening and new equipment installation shall be relocated as required. Existing light fixtures and mechanical ductwork that conflict with the modified door opening or the new chiller equipment layout shall be removed, relocated, and/or replaced to maintain functionality and code compliance.
