As of November 14, 2025, No Award, Anticipated award date is December 4, 2025 The project consists of the removal and abandonment of approximately forty-three (43) out-of-service fire hydrants. All work for this contract must be completed within forty-five (45) calendar days from the issuance of a Notice to Proceed. Proposals must be submitted on the designated forms included with the contract documents and in the manner specified. Proposals are to be enclosed in sealed envelopes bearing the name and address of the bidder and the project name on the outside, addressed to the Borough of Oceanport. Proposals must be accompanied by a statement of consent of surety from a company authorized to do business in New Jersey and acceptable to the Owner, along with either a bid bond or certified check payable to the Borough of Oceanport for not less than ten percent (10%) of the bid amount, up to a maximum of $20,000.00. A performance bond and a labor and material payment bond for the full amount of the project are required from the successful bidder. Only bidders who have properly qualified according to the requirements detailed in the contract documents will have their proposals accepted. The Owner reserves the right to reject any or all bids or waive any informalities, as well as to abandon the project or adjust quantities as specified in the documents. Bidders must comply with all applicable statutory and regulatory requirements, including affirmative action and public disclosure provisions.
