Refer to the register of establishments and lots in Appendix A for their properties and locations. Appropriate techniques should be used to avoid damaging the waterproofing membrane. A thin layer of snow (about 5 cm) should be left on the roof. Ensure that snow from the roof does not obstruct emergency doors or exits. Ensure that generators, ventilation grilles or other items are not obstructed by snow from the roof. Remove snow from all small roofs above doors, when requested. Clear drains and rooftop units. The service provider must ensure that snow removed from the roof does not obstruct in any way: generators, ventilation grids, gas meters or any other equipment located nearby; the doors or emergency exits on the roof; the accessibility or safety of the occupants. In this regard, the service provider must note that all windows, access, circulation areas, parking lots, entrances and exits must be accessible and secure.
