Contractor to furnish all labor, materials and equipment necessary to perform all work required to complete all construction of the Columbarium as shown in the consultant specifications and bid documents. All questions regarding this event must be received by October 3, 2025, by 5:00 PM EST. Questions must be submitted in writing to Johnnie Coker Via the Supplier Portal. Work under this contract generally consists of the contractor furnishing all labor, materials, and equipment necessary to perform all work required to complete the construction of the Columbarium as shown in the consultant specifications and bid documents. Instructions to bidders include: - Bids must be submitted electronically through the supplier portal. - All bids must be accompanied by a bid bond on the specified form, secured by a surety company, certified check, or cashier's check in an amount of at least 5% of the bid. - A contract performance and payment bond each in the amount of 100% of the contract amount will be required for the successful bidder. Payment and performance bonds may be waived only for contracts under $100,000, but the bid bond for this contract will not be waived. - All bids and work performed must comply with applicable City Labor Standards, Federal Labor Standards Provisions, and various city, state, and federal acts regarding employment, wage rates, equal employment opportunity, and non-discrimination. - Contractors and subcontractors must have all necessary licenses and provide license numbers prior to contract award. - Documentation compliance with Local Disadvantaged Business Employment Provisions must be submitted in a separate sealed envelope with the bid, with a goal of 20% DBE participation, at least half of which should be met by a local DBE, and a good faith effort is required to achieve both goals. - Bidders must agree to the "Certification of Non-Segregated Facilities" and failure to do so will render the bid non-responsive. - The City reserves the right to modify, waive, or vary the terms and to reject any or all bids at its discretion.
