The North Red Deer River Water Services Commission (NRDRWSC) is seeking a qualified Historical Resources Consultant to complete regulatory requirements under Alberta's Historical Resources Act for a proposed regional potable water pipeline connecting the NRDRWSC facilities at the Town of Ponoka to Ermineskin Cree Nation. The scope of work includes a desktop assessment, and field reconnaissance covering archaeology, palaeontology, and historical resources. Additional responsibilities impact evaluation with avoidance and mitigation strategies, and comprehensive reporting. The assignment is structured across the following phases: Desktop Review & Predictive Modelling, Permitting & Access, Impact Evaluation & Mitigation Design, and Reporting & Regulatory Submission. The work is to be completed in accordance with a criticalpath project schedule. Proponents are to provide lump-sum fee proposals itemized by phase and labour category, with disbursements billed at cost and optional mitigation services priced separately.
