The City of Conyers, GA is soliciting Statements of Qualifications (SOQs) from qualified firms or organizations to provide engineering design services for GDOT PI #0021221, a transportation alternatives project which involves the construction of sidewalks along Green Street, beginning at the western city limits and extending to West Avenue, covering approximately 0.78 mile. Interested parties can obtain the request for qualifications document from the City’s website or the Georgia Procurement Registry. Any questions regarding the SOQ or the project must be submitted in writing via e-mail. Location: Green Street beginning at the western city limits and extending to West Avenue The City anticipates one (1) Multi-Phase, Project Specific contract to be awarded to one (1) firm, for the project/contract identified. The City anticipates that the Contract Type will Cost Plus Fixed Fee. As a Project Specific contract, it is the City’s intention that the Agreements will remain in effect until successful completion of the preliminary engineering phase of the projects, and may choose to utilize the selected consultant for use on construction revisions as necessary. The Multi-Phase, Project Specific contract amount will be determined via negotiations with the City. If the City is unable to reach a satisfactory agreement and at reasonable rates to be paid for the services to be provided, the City reserves the right to terminate negotiations with the highest scoring finalist and begin negotiations with the next highest scoring finalist.
