Bids are invited for General Contract for the Work of following project(s). WTSP Life Safety System Upgrades - Phase 2 Fire Alarm Upgrades, West Tennessee State Penitentiary, Henning, Lauderdale County, Tennessee Drop off or courier service Bids shall be submitted to the Contract Administration Group or Loretta Baltz after 9:00 a.m. Note: It is requested that Bids are NOT dropped off at any other date or time. Bidders bidding $25,000 or more must be licensed per state law. Five percent (5%) Bid Security may be required. Non-Discrimination policy applies. Remove existing fire alarm systems in all buildings and install new fire alarm systems. Question Deadline 11/06/2025 Questions must be received by Designer at least six calendar days before bid due date. Work of this Contract consists of the following: A. Replace the existing fire alarm system in each of Thirty-Five (35) buildings with a new fire alarm system. Replacement shall include all initiating devices, notification devices, control panels, annunciator panels, and wiring. B. Demolition of existing fire alarm systems in each building at the completion and State Fire Marshal acceptance of the new fire alarm systems. C. Provide a Proprietary Supervising Station Alarm System in the existing Central Control Room that will monitor all seventeen building fire alarm systems via Ethernet connection to the existing facility's Maintenance Network. D. Replace designated existing maintenance network switches with new switches that are Fire Alarm System compatible (UL864 compliant). E. Provide a System Monitoring Workstation in the Facility Safety Officer's office. Question Deadline 05/07/2026
