No Pre-Bid Conference Questions – Must be in Writing Only: Questions concerning this project must be in writing only and should be e-mailed (no telephone calls) to the Purchasing Manager: HCBids@hainescity.com OBJECTIVE: The City of Haines City is seeking quotes from qualified contractors to complete the scope of work outlined herein with quality, efficiency, and integrity. The City reserves the right to award a subset of the scope of work herein based on the workload, capability, and performance of the contractor. RESIDENTIAL SCOPE OF WORK: See Attachment H (H1-H22) for residential addresses and their associated scope of work that are within the parameters of the Residential Rehabilitation Grant (RRG) Program. While additional work may be recommended, the proposer must limit their proposals to the confines of the RRG Program. Please refer to their respective scope of work and home inspection reports for details. EXPECTATIONS: Proposers must be qualified and licensed to conduct the Scope of Services. Further, proposers should have significant experience in residential remodeling and construction, and renovating historical properties (with familiarity with the Secretary of the Interior's Standards for renovating historical buildings). Proposers shall submit bids based on the scope of work described in the inspection reports and the Cost Summary (Attachment A). If, based on the proposer's professional assessment, additional or alternative work is deemed necessary, such as a roof replacement instead of a roof repair, the proposer shall provide two quotes: (1) a quote for the established scope of work and (2) a separate alternate quote for the proposed additional or alternative work
