Bid Bond Greater than $100,000: 5%; Less than $100,000: 10% The successful proposers shall prove by their qualifications, experience, availability, approach, and plan for the work that they will best serve the overall needs of the City of Haines City. The selection of the successful proposer shall be at the City's discretion and shall be made in a prompt manner after the receipt and evaluation of all responses. Questions regarding this solicitation must be received in writing to the address above no later than November 6, 2025 by 5:00 PM. Responses to those questions considered material to the solicitation shall be distributed via formal Addendum and posted to the City website in care of DemandStar at demandstar.com. The Contractor shall perform all work in accordance with applicable codes, standards, and manufacturer specifications, ensuring proper function and reliability of the lighting system. 2. The Scope of Work includes, but is not limited to, the following: i. Mobilization and Site Preparation 1. Coordinate with the City, utility providers, and relevant agencies prior to commencing work. 2. Establish work zones, staging areas, and traffic control in compliance with FDOT standards and safety regulations. ii. Lighting System Repairs and Replacements 1. Inspect all designated lighting poles, fixtures, and wiring along US Highway 27 within the project limits. 2. Replace defective or damaged light fixtures, ballasts, lamps, fuses, photocells, and wiring as needed. 3. Repair or replace inoperative circuits, junction boxes, and outlets to restore full system functionality. 4. Ensure proper grounding, alignment, and illumination coverage per the approved design intent.
