Site work and paving for a mixed-use development in Bernards, New Jersey. Completed plans call for site work for a sidewalk / parking lot; for paving for a sidewalk / parking lot; and water / sewer project.

Sidewalk replacement at Buildings 135 and 143 includes demolition and removal of existing concrete sidewalks and installation of new concrete sidewalks. Work involves excavation, grading, forming, pouring, and finishing concrete to meet ADA compliance and VA specifications. Contractor shall ensure proper drainage, match existing elevations, and restore disturbed areas. Safety measures, traffic control, and coordination with VA personnel are required throughout the project. Location: VA Medical Center, 800 Irving Avenue, Syracuse, NY 13210 The Vendor will Evaluate existing conditions of the sidewalks to determine the extent of required replacement 2. Vendor will provide all Labor for this Job and material, dumpsters and all safety equipment to repair and replace the sidewalk on Bldg. 135 and 143 at the Va New Jersey. 3. The vendor will install Security Fencing around the construction Site, ensuring that no patients enter the construction zone. 4. Vendors will remove approximately 1500 square feet of concrete, using demo saw, Jack Hammer and concrete breakers. 5. The vendor will remove all debris from sidewalk and into the dumpster at the end day. 6. The vendor will clean all debris from sidewalk and tamp the hole, so the ground is solid. 7. The Vendor will use 1x6 premium grade Lumber forms to form the sidewalk. 8. The Vendor will use 3/4 inch gravel to fill in the hole. 9. The Vendor Will use #4 rebar to reinforce the strength of concrete. 10. The Vendor pour 4000 Psi of concrete ensuring the sidewalk is 6" thick. 11. The Vendor will install ADA warning pads to replace the ones they remove 12. The Vendor will Let the concrete Cure overnight. 13. The vendor will the Remove the dumpster and all safety fencing. 14. The contractor shall provide credentials showing that they are an authorized installer for the concrete products being used. 15. The contractor is to provide to the Contracting Officers Representative daily progress pictures. 16. The contractor shall provide all submittals for material no later than 10 days from receiving the notice to proceed. A site visit is scheduled for 10/15/25 at 10am EST. Prospective offerors are to meet behind Building 135 at Lyons NJ VA. This will be the only site visit for this project, no other site visits will be scheduled.
