Renovation of a mixed-use development in Bernards, New Jersey. Working plans call for the renovation of a medical facility.

The contractor shall furnish and install all Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) chilled water coils, steam coils, and provide all labor and materials necessary for complete replacement of defective chilled water and/or steam coils in specified buildings. Work includes replacement of coils in air handling units (AHUs) and duct systems as listed: Building 4 - AHU 1 steam coil and AHU 2 chilled water and steam coils (Trane units); Building 54 - duct coil off AHU 2 above ceiling in dining room (2nd floor) and AHU 3 chilled water coil (Centralaire 1420A2); Building 57 - AHU 1 steam coil and AHU 2 steam coil (Carrier units); Building 135 - AHU 1 chilled water coil and AHU 2 steam coil (Carrier units); Building 143 - AHU 4 and AHU 5 chilled water coils (Carrier units). Contractor will also install VA-provided new chilled water and steam coils for Building 4 (AHU 1 chilled water coils, qty 2), Building 53 (AHU 1 steam and chilled water coils, AHU 2 steam coil, AHU 3 steam coil), and Building 135 (AHU 3 steam coil). After installation, all piping must be pressure and leak tested, full startup performed on all affected units, and verified by a VA HVAC representative. Existing coils must be returned to the HVAC supervisor, and all waste discarded appropriately with waste reports submitted prior to contract completion or quarterly if the project spans multiple quarters. Contractor to start immediately after receiving the NTP, estimate completion time is 90 calendar days.
