Sealed Bids will be received for the Track Replacement at Ridge High School, 268 South Finley Avenue, Basking Ridge, New Jersey, together with all work incidental thereto, in accordance with the requirements of the Drawings and Specifications. Bids are for a single overall contract and all work incidental thereto. Only bidders or their subcontractors classified by the New Jersey Department of Treasury, Division of Property Management and Construction in C054: Site Work or C060: Athletic Fields/Tracks/Courts are eligible. Bids must be submitted in the manner designated, enclosed in a sealed envelope with the Bidder's name, address, and Proposal Identification Number. Bids must include a Certified Check, Cashier's Check, or Bid Bond for not less than ten percent (10%) of the bid (not exceeding $20,000), and a Certificate of Consent of Surety from a Surety Company, confirming that they will provide a Performance/Payment Bond for the contract. Subcontractors must also provide surety or proof thereof. Bidders must submit with the bid, Proof of Registration Certificate with the New Jersey Department of Treasury, Division of Revenue, for themselves and their subcontractors. All bids must conform to the specifications. Bidders and their subcontractors are required to be registered with the New Jersey Department of Labor under "The Public Works Contractor Registration Act." All applicable Federal, State, and Municipal Laws, Ordinances, Rules, and Regulations apply. The Board of Education reserves the right to reject any and all Bids or waive informality in the Bidding in the interest of the Board, and to not award a contract if requisite approval for the project is not obtained from the appropriate state agency.
