Renovation of a multi-residential development in Marion, Virginia. Completed plans call for the renovation of a one-story above grade, two-unit multi-residential development.
Bids are requested for Window, Heat, Ventilation, and AC Replacement Improvements at the two bedroom units of the Severt Hills Apartment complex. The work involves all related improvements associated with these systems as directed by the Marion Redevelopment and Housing Authority. Bidders must deliver their bids to the office of the Marion Redevelopment and Housing Authority, and all CONTRACT DOCUMENTS, including plans and specifications, can be obtained from Meredith Surveying and Engineering. Bidders are required to submit a certified check or acceptable Bid Bond valued at 5 percent of their base bid and, if selected, provide a bond equal to the contract amount and appropriate liability insurance. Bidders need to comply with Virginia contractor licensing laws as detailed in Title 54.1, Chapter 11, Code of Virginia, and follow bid withdrawal procedures as specified. All prospective bidders are required to attend a mandatory pre-bid conference at the office of the Marion Redevelopment and Housing Authority. Any prospective bidder desiring an explanation or interpretation of the solicitation, specifications, drawings, etc., must request it at least 7 days before the scheduled time for bid opening
