Site work and paving for a mixed-use development in Kerrville, Texas. Conceptual plans call for site work for a bridge / tunnel; for paving for a bridge / tunnel; sidewalk / parking lot; and sidewalk / parking lot.
The City of Kerrville's Guadalupe River crossing at Bear Creek Road has been approved for full replacement of the existing low-water crossing as a result of the damage incurred from the flood event. The City is seeking to enter into an engineering services contract with a state-registered engineer to provide planning, engineering, surveying, geotechnical, bidding and construction phase services. The effort will also require environmental clearance for the entire length of the project limits. The City will utilize contracts to replace the existing low water crossing, generally described as a 355 FT long by 19.7 FT wide concrete low water crossing with 4 each of prestressed concrete box culvert 5 FT wide x 1.75 FT tall x 19.7 feet long Kerr County San Antonio District No. 15 Bear Creek Road over the Guadalupe River, by replacing it with a 355 FT long by 26 FT wide prestressed concrete low water crossing (24 FT wide roadway) with barrier and openings per applicable codes and standards and current consensus-based codes and standards identified under Appendix A of Disaster Recovery Reform Act (DRRA), Section 1235 (b). The method of Contractor Selection has not been Determined at this time.
