Renovation of a municipal facility in Cinnaminson, New Jersey. Completed plans call for the renovation of a municipal facility.

The Contractor is responsible and obligated to successfully complete the entire project and to complete each and every necessary detail of every item specified and/or shown on the Contract Drawings and in the Specifications regardless of whether or not a particular detail is specifically mentioned. Any detail of work called out on the Drawings but not called out in the Specifications, or any item of work or detail not called out on the Drawings, but called out in the Specifications, shall be considered the same as if it was called out in both the Specifications and the Drawings. The scope of work shall include the following 1. The Contractor is responsible for providing new and repairing existing architectural features and finishes including, but not limited to, walls, floors, roof, and ceiling systems as shown on the contract drawings and as required to complete the new work. 2. The Contractor is responsible for any necessary demolition of the existing equipment and related accessories and the installation of new fire suppression piping, components and related accessories as shown on the contract drawings. Demolition and new work shall include all modifications to the existing equipment, systems, and structures; piping and valves; mechanical equipment; and electrical equipment and systems; as shown on the drawings and as specified herein and as required to deliver complete and operational systems at no additional cost to the Owner. 3. The scope of work for the project shall consist of the following major work items A. Fire Protection 1. Demolition of existing dry pipe sprinkler system in the entire building as indicated on the contract drawings. 2. Provision of new wet pipe & dry pipe nitrogen NFPA-13 compliant sprinkler system throughout the entire building as indicated on the contract drawings 3. Anytime the system is placed out of service firewatch shall be provided. Firewatch shall be provided by the contractor when they are working in the building. The Township shall provide firewatch during all other times. The contractor shall coordinate the scheduling of firewatch with the Engineer and Township at least 48 hours prior to the system being placed out of service. Bid forms, contracts and specifications are available by contacting Remington & Vernick Engineers. Should interested bidders not have the ability to handle electronic download sets, a set may be arranged to be sent overnight by calling 856 795 9595 No Bids Are to Be Picked Up At the Engineer's Office or at the Municipality Offices. Payment Must Be Received Prior to Obtaining Said Specifications. No Bids Are to Be Dropped Off at the Engineer's Office. The Township reserves the right to consider the bids for sixty (60) days after the receipt thereof, and further reserves the right to reject any or all bids, either in whole or in part and also to waive any informality in any and make such awards or take action as may be in the best inter est of the Township, in accordance with applicable law. Bids must be on the bid form prepared by Remington and Vernick Engineers, in the manner designated therein and required by the specifications, must be enclosed in sealed envelopes bearing the name and address of the bidder on the outside and also bearing on the outside reference to the particular work bid upon. Each bid shall be accompanied by a certified check, cashier's check or bid bond duly executed by the bidder as principal and having as surety thereon a surety company approved by the Township in an amount not less than ten percent (10%) but in no case in excess of $20,000.00 of the amount bid. Any such bid bond shall be without endorsement or conditions. Bid shall also be accompanied by a certificate letter from a surety company stating that it will provide the bidder with the completion bond. The award of the contract shall be made subject to the necessary moneys to do the work being provided by the Township in a lawful manner. *The list of planholders and/or interested bidders is not being tracked by the stakeholders involved with this project.
