The work involves renovation of an existing building to serve as the Boys and Girls Club. It includes selective demolition, earthwork, termite control, subdrainage, asphalt paving, chain-link fences and gates, lawns and grasses, cast-in-place concrete, unit masonry assemblies, metal fabrications, miscellaneous carpentry, interior architectural woodwork, sheet waterproofing, open cell spray polyurethane foam insulation, membrane roofing preparations, sheet metal flashing and trim, manufactured roof specialties, joint sealants, standard steel doors and frames, overhead coiling doors, aluminum framed entrances and storefronts, aluminum windows, door hardware, glazing, gypsum board assemblies, acoustical panel ceilings, resilient wall base and accessories, painting, high performance coatings, visual display boards, toilet compartments, signs, post and panel signs, fire protection specialties, protective covers, toilet and bath accessories, food service equipment, HVAC and plumbing systems, electrical (power and lighting) systems, and clean-up and removal of construction debris. Proposals must be submitted as Lump Sum Bids for the indicated work. Bid Guarantee in the form of a Bid Bond, Certified Check, or cash in an amount not less than 5% of the bid must accompany each bid, payable to the Owner. The successful bidder is required to provide performance and payment bonds for 100% of the contract price. Federal wage rates apply. Bidding documents can be obtained from Maco-Evansville Blue with a specified deposit and viewed at designated plan rooms or online. The Owner reserves the right to determine bidder qualifications and to accept or reject any or all bids.
