Site work for a playground / park / athletic field in Bourne, Massachusetts. Completed plans call for site work for a one-story above grade playground / park / athletic field.
Bourne Recreation Authority is seeking bids for construction work in the Bourne Scenic Park Campground. The work includes removing the existing water meter pits and installing new water meter pits in the designated location in the P-Area and in the current location in the C-Area, in accordance with the specifications. Instructions to bidders: Bid specifications are available at the administrative office or by email. A mandatory pre-bid site visit will be held in the park. Responses to the bid solicitation are due by the specified date at the administrative office. The bid is subject to prevailing wage requirements. All bidders must provide a 5% bid deposit with their bid. The selected contractor must provide a 100% payment bond and a 100% performance bond upon award and certificates of insurance listing the Authority as an additional insured, with specific coverages as outlined in the specifications. Bids must remain valid for sixty days after opening. The Authority reserves the right to waive informalities, accept or reject any or all bids, or take whatever action is deemed to be in its best interest. *The value for this project is based on a financial range. The value is listed as the highest possible cost from the range provided by a stakeholder or official project document.
