Closing Time: 4:30 PM (NT) Question Acceptance Deadline 2025/10/16 04:30:00 PM NDT The scope of this contract includes the transportation, placement, and installation of two (2) prefabricated modular homes currently stored at a warehouse in Goose Bay, Newfoundland and Labrador. Each module measures approximately 75 feet in length. Work of this Contract comprises the transportation, placement, and installation of two (2) prefabricated modular homes to be located in Nain, NL. Transportation of modules from the warehouse in Goose Bay to each community, by either ferry or barge, including offloading and overland transport to the final site locations as indicated in the contract drawings. Warehouse is located at 8 Regina Street, Happy Valley-Goose Bay, owned by JJ's Trucking. Contractor is responsible for coordinating with JJ's Trucking for the removal of the modules from their warehouse. The concrete blocks currently being use to support the modules are to be returned to NCI, located at 106 Corte Real Road. Contractor to coordinate with NCI for the return of the concrete blocks. Each module is to be installed as per the modular home drawings, including the use of reinforced concrete pavers, concrete blocks, and pier toppers. Extension and connection of water and sanitary sewer services to each modular unit in accordance with the drawings detailed in Appendix A. Water and Sanitary water lines are to be insulated and heat traced. Coordination and connection of electrical service to each modular unit, including all labor, materials, and utility coordination. Construction and installation of stairs for each unit as per details in Appendix A. All work to be performed in compliance with local, provincial, and federal codes and regulations. Contractor is responsible for obtaining necessary permits and inspections. Commissioning of the modular homes and verification of all utility connections and installations to ensure full functionality and compliance with design intent.
