Renovation of an educational facility in Winnipeg, Manitoba. Design plans call for the renovation of a educational facility.
Mechanical upgrades to provide adequate ventilation to dynamometers in rooms SP232, SP234 and SP235 while removing the under-designed existing system. Ventilation to satisfy load requirements for dynamometer. Ensure the paint booth in room SP231 can operate year-round, in accordance with UofM safety standards and procedures. Prevent overheating in offices with southern exposure. Distributing air evenly throughout to the north side of the building. Constant temperature control for south elevation rooms. Any architectural renovation requirements from the mechanical repairs. TIMELINE: An RFP for engineering consulting services was awarded late 2025. Design updates will not be released for publication. Updates will be made upon issuance of tender for construction, timing is unreleased. Owners estimated construction budget is $450k.
