Gc for Boys & Girls Club Exterior Wall Repair Scope Of Work Constitues An Emergency Maintenance Repair Of Failed Reinforced Masonry Wall Supporting The Stairs. The Work Includes The Removal And Replacement, In Kind, Of The Failing Structural Masonry Wall. The Ramps And Stairs That Are Connected To This Will Be Replaced As Part Of The Work As Required For The Complete Repair. There Is No Change To The Exisiting Occupancy, Occupant Load Or Related Building Other Than Repair Of Historic Masonry Elements The scope of work constitutes an emergency repair of the failing reinforced masonry wall supporting the exterior staircase. The work includes demolition of the existing wall, stairs and ramps; salvage and reuse of existing bricks and railing; and replacement of the wall (CMU block with brick veneer), stairs, ramps and wall caps; installation of a design-build snowmelt system in the stairs; and associated sitework. The base bid also includes creating silicone molds of the decorative cast stone medallions, scuppers and cornices located on the upper four corners of the building.
