(1): Job J6S3557 Route 67 St Louis County. Resurface and ADA improvement from I-70 to Route D (Page Avenue), the total length of improvement being 3.825 miles. Range: $10M to $15M Each Bid Shall Be Accompanied by a Certified Check or Cashier's Check, Drawn on Any Bank or Trust Company and Payable to "Director of Revenue, Credit State Road Fund", or Bidders May Submit a Bid Bond for Each Project Bid or an Annual Bid Bond That Would Cover All Projects Bid for a Twelve Month Beginning July 1 and Ending June 30 of Each Missouri State Fiscal Year. Annual Bid Bond Forms Must Be Submitted by June 15 of Each Year. Bid bonds must be Submitted on a form furnished by the commission, executed by the bidder and corporate surety, and naming the "State of missouri, acting by and Through the missouri highways and transportation commission", as obligee) for an amount (or penal sum) equal to 5% or more of the bid, Which check or bond shall be deposited with the commission as a guaranty and forfeited in the event the bidder is found to be the successful bidder and fails to comply with the terms of the request for bid. This work consists of furnishing, transporting, and installing curb reflectors of the type and spacing specified in the roadway plans. All work shall comply with Sec 620 and include cost of equipment, labor, materials, and time required to complete said work. 1.1 General. The surface of the curb to which the reflector shall be applied shall be free of dirt, curing compound, moisture, paint, or any other material which would adversely affect the bond of the adhesive. Cleaning of the surface shall be to the satisfaction of the Engineer. An adhesive meeting the reflector manufacturer's specifications shall be placed either on the surface or the bottom of the reflector in sufficient quantity to ensure complete coverage of the contact area with no voids present and with a slight excess after the reflector is pressed firmly in place. The installed height of the prismatic curb reflectors shall be a maximum of 3/4 in. above the mounting surface. The unit shall have one reflective surface that is placed approximately perpendicular to the mounting surface.
