Site work for a water / sewer project in South Lebanon, Ohio. Completed plans call for site work for a water / sewer project.
Work of the Project is the construction of an approximately 5,000 LF gravity sanitary sewer main running along the Little Miami Bike Trail to the project site where a new one-story 1,500 square foot control building and the head of a new sanitary force main and site improvements occur. From this point, the new sanitary force main sewer will continue running along the existing Little Miami Bike Trail to the point where it will cross the river suspended from an existing railroad bridge and continue to the end of the new force main at the Lebanon Waste Water Treatment Facility. Minor work will occur at the Lebanon Waste Water Treatment Facility to receive the new sanitary force main sewer. As a condition of receiving capitalization grantsfrom U.S. EPA for the Water Pollution Control Loan Fund (WPCLF) and the Water Supply Revolving Loan Account (WSRLA), the Ohio EPA negotiates "fair share" Disadvantaged Business Enterprises(DBE) objectives with U.S. EPA. The current negotiated goal for construction related activitiesis 5.4% (the total goal is based on 3.1% of MBEs and 2.3% of WBEs participation).
