Reference Number 0000401206 The Glovesville Johnstown Joint Wastewater Treatment Facility (GJJWTF) is seeking proposals from quailifed engineering firms to complete a facility-wide feasibility study to increase the facility's current Acid Whey processing capacity from 32,000,000 gallons per year to 90,000,000 gallons per year. This study shall evaluate the impact of this increased capacity on all physical aspects of the facility, including offsite infrastructure, from Screening Headworks to Effluent discharge to the receiving waters, solids handling process through acceptance and delivery of dewatered solids to the Fulton County landfill, and biogas production, treatment, utilization, and waste flaring. The study shall also include the evaluation of all potential regulatory permitting changes and notices that have the potential to be triggered by any required process change associated with this increase in process capability. This study shall identify and quantify all points in the facility's process that will require modification and potential upgrade to facilitate the increased Acid Whey processing capacity, including budgetary cost estimates, which shall include construction cost and required inventory to support all new equipment. The supporting engineering basis shall be provided for all required changes.
