Demolition, site work, renovation and addition to an educational facility in Naperville, Illinois. Completed plans call for the addition of a educational facility; for the demolition of a educational facility; for the renovation of a educational facility; and for site work for a educational facility.
Sealed bids will be received by Indian Prairie School District 204 for the following project: Neuqua Valley High School - Additions and Renovations Naperville, IL 60564 Bid Group: 1 Bid Packages: A - Demolition, B - Excavation, C - Site Utilities, D - Concrete, E - Structural Steel, F - Asphalt All bids must be submitted in accordance with the bidding instructions contained in the Bidding Documents for the project. Bid security in the form of a bid bond in an amount equal to ten percent (10%) of the base bid amount shall be submitted with the bid. The bond shall be payable to the Indian Prairie School District 204, 780 Shoreline Dr., Aurora, IL 60504. All documents and information required by the bidding instructions contained in the Bidding Documents for the project shall be submitted with the bid. Incomplete, late or non-conforming bids will not be accepted. No bids shall be withdrawn, cancelled or modified after the time for opening of bids without the Board's consent for a period of sixty (60) days after the scheduled time of bid opening. The Board reserves the right to reject any or all bids or parts thereof, or waive any irregularities or informalities. Bids shall be awarded to the lowest responsible bidder, considering conformity with specifications, terms of delivery, and quality and serviceability, as determined by the Board. The successful bidders shall comply with the provisions of the Illinois Prevailing Wage Act, specifically including the payment of the applicable prevailing wages to all laborers, workers, and mechanics performing work under the contract. If during the time period of the work, the prevailing wage rates change, the contractor shall be responsible for additional costs without any change to the contract amount. All bidders must comply with the Illinois Statutory requirements regarding labor, including Equal Employment Opportunity Laws.
