The work consists of well pumping unit rehabilitation at one District well site located in the Community of Yucaipa, specifically Well No. 12 in Edgar Canyon within the District's Upper Well Field. The site will require site-specific work related to components of well pumping unit repair and/or replacement and well rehabilitation. The work shall be performed by a single contractor under a single contract. Prevailing wages will be in effect and costs must comply with State Labor Code. Bidders must be licensed (Class A, General Engineering; and/or C-57, Well Drilling), have verifiable experience in similar work, and be registered to perform public work with the State of California, Department of Industrial Relations. All bids must be submitted on the prescribed Bid Form. The successful bidder must provide insurance per the Request for Bid before the contract is executed. The owner reserves the right to reject any and all proposals, waive any irregularity, or award to other than the lowest bidder.
