The project consists of furnishing all materials and equipment and performing all labor necessary to construct a well as shown on the drawings. The work includes, but is not limited to, a new 2,000 GPM deep well, site work, yard piping, erosion and sediment control measures, grassing, construction staking, mobilization/demobilization, bonds, insurance, delivery of materials, taxes, and all other appurtenances necessary for completion of the work. The allotted time for completion is 150 consecutive calendar days from the date of the written Notice to Proceed. All work must be completed in accordance with the plans and specifications. The contract, if awarded, will be awarded in one contract. Offerors must complete the Qualifications of Bidder to be evaluated. The person constructing the well must be a licensed water well contractor in the State of Georgia, and the license number must be listed on the face of the proposal envelope. Proposals must be accompanied by a bid bond or certified cashier's check in the amount not less than 10% of the base bid. Performance and Payment Bonds, each in an amount equal to 100% of the contract price, will be required of the successful offeror. All qualifying contractors and subcontractors must register and participate in E-Verify. The E-Verify number must be listed on the outside of the Proposal envelope. All prospective offerors are required to attend a mandatory Pre-Proposal Conference. Only contractors on record as having purchased the complete Bidding Documents will have their proposals considered.
