The Retirement Systems of Alabama seeks proposals from qualified Water Treatment firms for professional services, preventive maintenance, installation, treatment, testing, and analysis of water systems in RSA-owned systems across the state. The scope of work includes troubleshooting, repair, installation, and maintenance of water treatment devices and control equipment. The contractor will provide all necessary chemicals, engineering, controls, delivery systems, travel, storage, permitting, licensing, postage, and other requirements to complete the work. The facilities include eight 3- and 4-star hotels, 10 parking facilities, over 2 million square feet of class A office space, and golf sites with club and maintenance facilities. All required activities and materials must be furnished by the proposing firm, and additional areas of work may be encountered during the course of the work. Instructions to bidders: Submit three loose-bound copies of the proposal including company history, office locations, current service area, project team with a dedicated full-time project manager, qualifications, no teaming/subcontracting arrangements except for specialty roles, Alabama GC license and, if applicable, low voltage license, corporation registration documents, claims/litigation history for the last five years, legal opinion for nonresident proposers on domicile preferences, bonding capacity, references, ISO 9001-15 certification, laboratory and headquarters location, sample reporting documentation, evidence of ADEM Water Safety Division class 4 operators, and any other supplemental information added after the required materials. Information must be presented in order, indexed, and tabbed. Brochures are discouraged and will not be considered in the evaluation. Proposals will be evaluated by a panel for compliance, service readiness, financial stability, personnel quality, and price. The RSA reserves the right to waive technicalities.
