A timeline for the award has not yet been established.** In general, the work comprises of remodeling two rooms in the City of Laguna Beach Community Recreation Center . The scope of work includes retrofitting existing ceiling light fixtures to LED, demolition of existing wall and flooring materials, selected wall mounted furniture and fixtures, selected casework, all electrical and data receptacles, to accommodate installation of new wall and floor finishes, furnishing and installation of office furniture and miscellaneous site furnishings, blocking for owner furnished-owner installed wall-mounted equipment, and electrical and data outlets to service owner installed equipment and furniture for the room conversions into a Training Room, Conference Room and Emergency Operations Center. The project also consists of furnishing and installation of new switchgear and two new temporary mobile generators for the Fire Administration Facility located at the same address. Alternate bid work includes complete replacement of ceiling light fixtures instead of retrofitting existing light fixtures to LED, installation of required lighting system improvements, and replacement of the flooring and paint in the Emergency Coordinator Office.
