Site work for a water / sewer project in Bedford, Virginia. Completed plans call for site work for a one-story above grade water / sewer project.
This project consists of Phase 1 work to include replacing emergency generator equipment and the automatic transfer switch at the Central WTP, as shown on the contract documents. The generator equipment must be provided as Owner Furnished/Contractor Installed equipment. Phases 2 and 3 work, as identified on the contract documents, are not included in the scope of this project. Sealed bids for the construction will be received by the Bedford Regional Water Authority. The contract is to be awarded on a lump sum basis. Bidding Documents and Master Specifications can be downloaded from the BRWA website free of charge. Addenda will be posted to the website, and it is the Contractor's responsibility to acknowledge all addenda on the Bid Form. Bidders must provide their Virginia contractor license class and number on the bid envelope and form. The successful bidder must comply with federal Executive Orders prohibiting employment discrimination and ensuring utilization of MBE/WBE subcontractors, as well as relevant non-discrimination and drug-free workplace laws under the Code of Virginia.
