Demolition for a multi-residential development in Buda, Illinois. Completed plans call for the demolition of a multi-residential development.
As of October 29, 2025, this project has not yet been awarded. A timeline for award has not yet been established. Sealed proposals are requested for the demolition and removal of two homes. The contractor is required to comply with the Illinois Department of Labor Prevailing Wage Law. The contractor must transport all friable asbestos containing material (RACM) and nonfriable asbestos containing material (ACM), according to the asbestos inspection report, to an approved disposal site. The project is referred to as Location 1 and Location 2 and consists of the complete removal and disposal of a residential structure. Detailed specifications and bid instructions are available from the Village Clerk. The Village reserves the right to accept or reject any or all bids and to waive any informalities in the bidding. The removal ofthe residential structure described shall include any garages, sheds,trees and shrubbery within 10 feet of any structure, and driveways along with any sidewalks located on the property. Foundations shall be taken down two (2) feet below ground level. The properties may be inspected between 9:00 AM and 3:00 PM Monday through Thursday with prior arrangements with the Village. 315 Sherman Street, Buda, IL 108 Willow St. Buda, IL 61314
