Bids are solicited to provide for the collection and disposal of residential solid waste and recycling services throughout Pittsfield Charter Township. Bids are only being accepted from responsible and established bidders experienced and regularly engaged in solid waste collection and recycling services. Bidders must provide satisfactory evidence of required capital, equipment, personnel, and experience to perform the work. Sealed bids must be submitted on furnished bid forms and marked accordingly. All bids must include a bid bond, cashier's check, bank draft, or certified check in the amount of 10% of the first-year contract total, made payable to Pittsfield Charter Township. Bid forms and specifications are available at the Township Offices and may be obtained by qualified bidders. The Township Board of Trustees reserves the right to reject any or all bids and to accept any bid deemed most advantageous to the Township.
