Sealed proposals are requested for a Generator Maintenance Contract for the Roslyn Water District. The project includes labor and materials. Bidders must not include sales and compensating use taxes on materials that will be incorporated into the project and sold to the District prior to incorporation. Each proposal must be accompanied by a certified check or bid bond, payable to Roslyn Water District, in an amount not less than five percent (5%) of the total bid amount. If a bid is accepted, the bidder must enter into a contract and execute further security as required for the faithful performance of the contract. The selected bidder must appear at the office of the District's Attorney with properly executed Surety Company Bond, insurance coverage, and execute the contract within ten (10) days of receiving notice of award. Failure to execute the bond and contract within this period will result in forfeiture of the bid deposit as liquidated damages. The Board of Commissioners will determine the lowest responsible bidder. Bids may not be withdrawn pending the Board's decision. The Owner reserves the right to reject any or all bids, waive any informalities, and accept the bid that is deemed to be in the Owner's best interest. Bidders are responsible for obtaining all addenda and updates related to the bid package by registering and acquiring bidding documents from the designated sources.
