Court Street and Herbster Street Drainage Improvements Project Includes: 2651 LF of Storm Sewer (12 inch to 30 inch) 12 Each Storm Sewer Manholes 24 Each Catch Basins 1544 of Concrete Curb, Type 6 4447 SY of Pavement Planing 479CY of Asphalt Pavement Completion Date: 240 Calendar Days after Notice to Proceed All proposals shall be sealed and endorsed for the Court Street and Herbster Street Drainage Improvements Project and addressed to Mr. Lance Willard, City Manager, at the address shown above and either hand delivered or received by mail prior to the opening date and time. The bidders may be required to give references and such other detailed information as will enable the owner to judge responsibility, experience, skill, and financial standing. Bids from contractors inexperienced in this particular type of work will not be awarded a contract. Bidders must comply with the prevailing wage rates on Public Improvements in Columbiana County and the City of Columbiana, Ohio, as determined by the State of Ohio Prevailing Wage Rates. Each Bidder is required to furnish with its proposal, a Bid Guaranty and Contract Bond in accordance with Section 153.54 of the Ohio Revised Code. Bid security furnished in Bond form, shall be issued by a Surety Company or Corporation licensed in the State of Ohio to provide said surety. The Owners reserve the right to reject any or all bids, to waive any informalities or irregularities in the bids received, and to accept any bid which it deems most favorable.
