Injection well closures and cleaning services for the Town of Hempstead. The estimated contract value is $353,000. Bidders must pay a non-refundable $100 fee (check only) to obtain proposal documents in person at the Office of the Commissioner of General Services. Each proposal must include a certified check or bid bond payable to the Town of Hempstead for not less than 5% of the estimated bid amount. Federal equal opportunity and labor standards apply. Minority-owned, women-owned, and disabled veteran-owned businesses are encouraged to submit proposals. If the bid amount exceeds $250,000, the bidder must have an Apprenticeship Program(s) in effect pursuant to Chapter 3 of the Code of the Town of Hempstead, appropriate for the scope of work and approved by the New York State Commissioner of Labor. A bidder without a qualifying Apprenticeship Program in place at the time of bid will be deemed non-responsive. The Town reserves the right to reject any or all bids.
