Demolition and site work for an industrial development in Kenosha, Wisconsin. Completed plans call for the demolition of a 22,309-square-foot, one-story above grade industrial development; and for site work for a industrial development.
Proposals are requested for the removal and disposal of Asbestos Containing Material and Universal Waste, the razing of structure(s), and the restoration of lot(s) at 1805 63rd Street, Kenosha, WI. The foundation is a 9-foot-deep reinforced concrete system enclosing a 22,309 ft footprint with a continuous 799-foot perimeter, including pre-cast walls and an at-grade slab with reinforced concrete beams, with one section of the slab having failed and fallen into the foundation. Proposals must be submitted sealed, on City forms, fully completed and legible. Each proposer is required to inspect the site and submit a signed certification letter stating the date and time of the inspection; failure to submit this letter will deem the proposal non-responsive. In the event of identifying suspected asbestos materials during demolition, work must cease in the affected area, the area secured, and the Citys project manager notified. All handling, removal, and disposal must comply with applicable regulations. The selected proposer will be required to execute a contract and necessary documents on City forms. Subcontractors, major material suppliers for orders over $5,000, and disposal sites must also be listed.
