The City of Vancouver invites Tenders from qualified contractors for the trenchless rehabilitation of the Raymur Forcemain. The City invites Tenders for The City invites Tenders for replacing and upsizing of a 250 mm diameter ductile iron sanitary forcemain at Strathcona Park along the existing alignment using the trenchless method of pipe-bursting. The forcemain segment for replacement is between Raymur Pump Station located at Raymur Avenue and Malkin Avenue and Chess Street, along 800-900 block of Malkin Avenue. The Work generally includes, but is not limited to: Supply and install approximately 225m of 300 mm diameter HDPE sanitary forecemain using the pipe-bursting technology described in the specifications; All associated temporary work including but not limited to access pits, dewatering, and restoration of all park and gardens areas impacted by construction; Selective demolition; Construction of discharge maintenance hole at the downstream end of the forcemain; Construction of miscellaneous permanent piping as per design; Connection of rehabilitated forcemain at the downstream and upstream ends; Concrete work including but not limited to pavers, curbs, and gutters; Surface grading, cut and fill, including the disposal of excess excavated material and supply of imported materials; Site improvements, including but not limited to unit paving, fencing, finish grading, topsoil, seeding, sodding, and planting of trees, shrubs, and ground covers; Commissioning of rehabilitated forcemain and removing of the temporary bypass piping and all other associated materials; All Prime Contractor duties and responsibilities; Environmental and tree protection; Traffic management and public safety.
