Remodeling of a mixed-use development in Parkersburg, West Virginia. Completed plans call for the remodel of a one-story above grade theater / auditorium.
Upgrades and replacement of the current sound system in the auditorium and other work indicated in the bidding documents. Bidders are required to submit all requests for information, substitution requests, and correspondence in writing to the architect’s administrative account. A bid bond equal to five percent (5%) of the bid, executed by the bidder and issued by a surety company approved by and in favor of the owner, is required with each bid to guarantee entrance into a contract if awarded. The successful bidder must furnish a 100% Performance and Labor and Material Payment Bond in the contract amount. Bids may not be withdrawn for thirty days without the owner's consent. All contractors and subcontractors are required to utilize local labor. Contractors must be licensed in West Virginia, and the WV license number must be affixed to all construction bids and contracts. The owner reserves the right to reject any and all bids and to make selections in its best interest.
