Otis Cultural Center Phase 2 - Belfry - Sub Bid Location- 69 Massachusetts 8 N Otis, MA 01253 All work must comply with the Secretary of the Interior's Standards for the Treatment of Historic Properties. This project is partially funded with a grant from the Massachusetts Historical Commission Each Bid and Filed Sub-bid must be accompanied by a bid security consisting of a BID BOND, CASH, or CERTIFIED CHECK issued by a responsible bank or trust company in the amount of 5% of the bid price. A performance bond , and a labor and materials bond, each in an amount equal to 100 percent of the total number of the contract price with a surety company qualified to do business in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts will be required for the faithful performance of the contract. The Town of Otis reserves the right to waive any informalities, to accept or reject, in whole or in part any or all bids, or take whatever other action may be deemed to be in the best interest of the Town. The Town of Otis, Massachusetts is seeking bids for Phase 2- Belfry stabilization of the Otis Cultural Center, formerly St. Paul's Episcopal Church, listed on the State Register for Historic Places. Structural stabilization of the belfry, replacement of the belfry roof with associated carpentry, removal and replacement of belfry clapboards, replacement of the decorative crenellations and spires of the belfry, and miscellaneous work as shown on the Drawings. 2. The Work seeks to preserve as much of the historic fabric of the building as possible. 3. Refer to the Drawings for complete scope of work.
