The City of Williamsburg Police Department is seeking bids from contractors for the procurement and installation of specified window shades for the new police station building at 615 Lafayette Street. The work shall include all labor, materials, equipment, transportation, survey, restoration, supervision, or other necessary facilities, duties, or incidentals required to execute and complete the project according to the contract documents. Window shades must be installed into the 16-gauge metal framing under the drywall return surrounding the window, not into the aluminum storefront material. Some windows are split between two rooms and require individual shades. Bidders are encouraged to perform field measurements. This bid covers only the 1st and 2nd floors of the building. Delivery and installation are to take place in mid-January 2026.
