Lighting Engineering and Design Services for Region 1 (Counties in Districts 1, 6, and 7) and Region 2 (Counties in Districts 2, 3, 4, and 5). Under the terms of this agreement, the selected Consultant will provide Lighting Engineering Services in support of the engineering design and development of transportation facilities and other design services for the Department under limited supervision and on an "On Call" basis. The scope of work incorporates preparing and providing complete proposed lighting plans including, but not limited to, roadway, interchange, intersection, vehicular tunnel, pedestrian tunnel, and underpass lighting. These plans may be for inclusion in parent construction or standalone lighting projects. The Prime Consultant must be prequalified by GDOT in area class 3.15 Highway Lighting. The Team (either the Prime Consultant and/or one or more of their sub-consultant team members) must be prequalified by GDOT in area classes: 3.15 Highway Lighting, 5.01 Land Surveying, 5.02 Engineering Surveying, 6.01(a) Soil Survey Studies, and 6.01(b) Geological and Geophysical Studies. Anticipated Key Team Leaders: Project Engineer, Lighting Designer. A restriction of communication is in effect for this project. Firms are not allowed to communicate about this solicitation or scope with any staff of GDOT, including the Commissioner and GDOT Board Members, except for the submission of questions as instructed in the upcoming RFQ, with the contact designated or as provided by existing work agreements. For violation of this provision, GDOT reserves the right to reject the submittal of the offending respondent.
