Site work, renovation and addition to an educational facility in Turbotville, Pennsylvania. Completed plans call for the renovation of a one-story above grade educational facility; and one-story above grade educational facility.
Renovations and additions are to be performed at Warrior Run Jr/Sr High School, located at 4800 Susquehanna Trail, Turbotville, PA 17772. The work includes renovations to the existing building, two small additions, replacement in-kind of an existing building area, and associated site work. pROJECT NO- 36265.00 PROJECT OBJECTIVE AND SCOPE OF WORK Earth Engineering Incorporated (EEI) has completed a geotechnical investigation for the proposed development located at Warrior Run High School, Turbotville, Pennsylvania. Based on the plans by the Client the proposed development is to include a 36,783 ft2 classroom addition, a single-story gymnasium entry addition and a future classroom addition along the eastern side of the high school. Based on the encountered conditions and the results of the testing performed for the proposed site, EEI has developed geotechnical recommendations for the design and construction of a suitable foundation system. EEI also provides general construction guidelines for the development of the site. EEI has conducted a geologic analysis of site conditions, laboratory testing of representative soil samples, and a geotechnical engineering analysis of the data obtained. This investigation was performed in general accordance with EEI Proposal No. BB-21829, dated July 18, 2023. The following report sections present the results of the test boring, and laboratory investigations and document recommendations regarding the geotechnical aspects of this project. Bidders requiring clarification or interpretation of the Bidding Documents shall submit written requests to the Architect, which shall be received by the Architect no later than seven (7) calendar days prior to the date for receipt of Bids. No oral questions from Bidders will be reviewed or accepted. Also, no questions will be received by the Owner. Any conflict, inconsistency, or discrepancy in the Bidding Documents shall be reported to the Architect at least seven (7) calendar days prior to submission of the Bid. Question Deadline 11/04/2025
