Renovation of a playground / park / athletic field in Alexandria, Virginia. Completed plans call for the renovation of a one-story above grade playground / park / athletic field.

The project includes the renovations of Riptide Restrooms at Cameron Run Regional Park. The Contractor shall furnish all equipment, material, and labor in accordance with the project manual and provided plans. The Contractor must have at least five years of successful experience. A list of three past projects similar in scope, including names and telephone numbers of Owners/operators and dates of project installation, shall be submitted with the bid. References must be projects installed within the last two years. Bids may be submitted in person, via U.S. Mail or other delivery service, or electronically by email. For in-person or mailed submissions, bids must be labeled to the attention of the Director of Planning and Development, and the outside of the bid must include the name of the bidder and the project name. For email submissions, the email subject line must include the bidder's name and project name, and bids must be submitted as PDF attachments. Bidders submitting electronically must notify the NOVA Parks project manager at least 24 hours prior to the bid deadline. It is the bidder's responsibility to ensure their bid and supporting documents are received. A five percent bid bond or certified check must be submitted with the sealed bid for all base bids over $500,000. The bond or check shall be for 5% of the bid. All bids and bid bonds must remain valid for ninety days. Performance and Labor and Material Payment bonds shall be required for contracts awarded over $500,000. Contract documents are available for download at the NOVA Parks website. The contractor is responsible for verifying and obtaining any addenda prior to the bid date. All interested Bidders should formally register with NOVA Parks by providing company and contact information. Project Addenda will be posted on the website and emailed to registered bidders.
