Site work and paving for a mixed-use development in Fairfield, California. Completed plans call for site work for a water / sewer project; sidewalk / parking lot; and for paving for a sidewalk / parking lot.
Installation of approximately 1,100 linear feet of 8-inch diameter potable water pipeline and appurtenances, abandonment of approximately 1,600 linear feet of 16-inch diameter potable water pipeline, partially located beneath Interstate 80, 2-inch grind and overlay of Mankas Blvd, and ADA curb ramps installation where pipeline replacement is planned. Bid Guaranty and Bonding Requirements are as follows: (a) a bid guarantee in the amount of 10% of the bid price must be submitted with bid proposal, (b) the successful bidder shall furnish a payment bond and a performance bond in the amount of 100% of total bid price. The Contractor shall perform with his/her own organization, work of a value amounting to not less than fifty (50) percent of the remainder obtained by subtracting from the total original value the sum of any items that may be designated as "Specialty Items" in the Special Provisions.
