Site work and paving for a road / highway in Fairfield, California. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway.
The project proposes signing and striping improvements, as well as the installation of raised medians at selected locations, to enhance visibility and safety at 37 unsignalized intersections throughout the City of Fairfield, California. Bidders are required to furnish all labor, materials, transportation, and services necessary for the construction and completion of these improvements. Bids must include a bid guarantee in the amount of 10% of the bid price, and the successful bidder must provide a payment bond and performance bond each in the amount of 100% of the total bid price. Proof of compliance with insurance requirements is also necessary, with specified minimum coverage amounts. Bids must be submitted in accordance with the contract documents and within the specified timeframes, either in person or by mail, with the appropriate labeling and tracking procedures. Bids received after the specified date and time will be rejected as invalid. It is solely the bidder’s responsibility to ensure timely delivery of their bid. As per ITB, Bidders may participate in a live bid opening at the Fairfield Transportation Center conference room, on Tuesday, February 3, 2026, at 2:00 PM PT Anticipated Award date is 03/03/2026 as per ITB
