Description

Site work for an industrial development in Rancho San Diego, California. Conceptual plans call for site work for a one-story above grade industrial development.

The scope of work includes the design and installation of a 5th operational chiller (designated Chiller 6) and a cooling tower at the East Campus Utility Plant (ECUP) to support Campus and new Outpatient Pavilion operations. Bidders are required to submit a written response for the selection of an Executive Mechanical Engineer for this project. The selected consultant shall make best efforts to provide qualified small business enterprises (SBEs) and disabled veteran business enterprises (DVBEs) with the maximum opportunity to participate. Each candidate firm may be required to show evidence of its equal employment opportunity policy. The work described is a public work subject to section 1771 of the California Labor Code. Every effort will be made to ensure that all persons have equal access to contracts and other business opportunities within the limits imposed by law or University policy.
