No contractor or subcontractor may be listed in a bid for a public works project and no contractor or subcontractor may be awarded a contract for public work on a public works project unless registered with the DIR per California Labor Code Section 1725.5 [with limited exceptions from this requirement for bid purposes only under California Labor Code Section 1771.1(a)]. Bid discounts may be applied as per San Francisco Administrative Code Chapter 14B and Section 2.01 of CMDAttachment 1. The Local Business Enterprise (LBE) subcontracting requirement is 20.00%. The LBE subcontracting requirement can only be met with CMDcertified San Francisco Micro and Small-LBEs. PUC-LBEs cannot be counted towards meeting the LBE subcontracting requirement(s).
