(1) - Route 295, Route 38 To Independence Avenue (Design E-2 Level A, T-1 Level A) Location(s) Camden, New Jersey Burlington, New Jersey Allows zero unit prices and labor Yes Allows negative unit prices and labor Yes SBE (25%) The New Jersey Department of Transportation is seeking to hire a qualified firm with expertise in Intelligent Transportation Systems (ITS). The purpose of this advertisement is to solicit interest from the consulting industry to provide Final Design and Construction Engineering Services for the Route 295, Route 38 to independence Avenue project. The project work will include installation of Fiber Optic Cable/Conduit throughout the limits of the project, Camera Surveillance Systems (CSS), Dynamic Messaging System (DMS) along the corridor that can exchange real time information to alert motorists, and Roadside Unit (RSU) to communicate with the connected vehicles. The consultant will utilize the TSM Limited Scope Project Delivery Process, and the work will be based upon the project's Concept Development report, as well as additional inputs from Mobility Engineering and other Subject Matter Experts.
