Bid proposals shall be submitted on standard forms, to be furnished by the old bridge municipal utilities authority (hereinafter called "Owner") which, together with specifications, instructions to bidders and all other contract documents, have been prepared by the owner, and same may be inspected and/or obtained by prospective bidders at the office of the owner, 15 throckmorton lane, old bridge, Middlesex county, new jersey, during regular business hours, upon presentation of the name and mailing address of the interested party; or can be mailed by submitting a check in the amount of $5.00 to cover postage and handling if mailed. All bid proposals must be accompanied by either a Bid Bond or a Certified Check, drawn to the order of the Treasurer, Old Bridge Municipal Utilities Authority, for not less than ten percent (10%) of amount of bid except that the check shall not exceed $20,000. Proposals are to include unit prices, if applicable, which shall be utilized in the resultant contract and may be utilized should contract amendment (s) be necessary. The successful bidder shall be required to comply with the requirements of N.J.S.A. 10:5-31 et seq. and N.J.A.C. 17:27. Further, the bid must be accompanied by a list of names and addresses of all stockholders owning ten percent (10%) or more of the stock, in accordance with Chapter 33 of the law of New Jersey, 1977. The Owner reserves the right to require a complete financial and experience statement from prospective bidders showing that they have satisfactorily completed work of the nature required before furnishing proposal forms or specifications or before awarding the Contract. Every request forsuch interpretation should be in writing, addressed to Michael Roy, Engineer ofthe OBMUA, 15 Throckmorton Lane, Old Bridge, N.J. 08857, and to be given consideration must be received at least ten (10) days prior to the date fixed for the opening ofbids. Any and all such interpretations and any supplemental instructions will be in the form ofwritten addenda to the specifications which, ifissued, will be sent to all prospective bidders as required by law (at the respective addressed furnished forsuch purposes) no later than five (5) days, Saturdays, Sundays and Holidays excepted, prior to date for acceptance ofbids. Question Deadline 10/28/2025 The right is also reserved to reject any or all bids or to waive any informalities where such informality is not detrimental to the best interest of the Owner. The right is also reserved to increase or to decrease the quantities specified in the manner designated in the specifications.
